Just thought I'd share a couple of new custom-order pieces.
The shoulder rig (a cordovan blend color) is for a 4 3/4" SAA (on its way to Texas) and the twin strongsides (more of a dark chocolate color, heading to SC) are for SAAs with 7.5" tubes.

Nothing really all that different here, but thought I'd share anyway.

The shoulder holster rig is beautiful but for me the shape and fit of the strongsides is just plain stunning!!!

There's going to be a couple happy cowboys when the big brown truck shows up  ......   ;)

Much obliged, pards, for all the kindnesses.

I really enjoy working on the traditional styles and feeling that connection to our past.
I know many of you feel the same way.

It's great to have so many talented leathersmiths able to gather here and share work and exchange ideas and techniques. It's also rewarding to know that so many folks are out there working to keep the craft and our Western heritage alive -- preventing it from being lost forever.

Guess it's our small gift to the next generations.

Speeking of the next generation. My son made a new holster and belt for his "cop Gun". Ok, dad cut it out. But Liam did the stamping and dyed it. Mighty proud dad  ;D
