We had a fella a few years back on The SASS Wire that ground hoggin' with a 45-70 Sharps. Plus one of my old hunting acquintances did it with a 300 Win. Mag. Hit one at about 135 yards, did everything but skin it. Threw it about 3 yards in the air. Farthest I ever hit one was 275 yards, with a 6mm Remington and a 75g hollow point..........Buck
