Anyone out there use APP for loading your 45 Colt & 45 Schofield ammo? I have about 400, 200 gr cast lead bullets on hand with smokeless lube. I know the one advantage APP has is that you can use smokelss lube or black powder lube. I was thinking I would use the same powder charge in the 45 Colt as used in the Schofield, using a filler to take the differance in th Colt case. Any thoughts or information would be helpful.

Thanks,

Been using 1.2cc of APP with 1cc of grits in my .45 Colt w/ a 200 gr bullet.

This has a smidgen of compression and a nice load with plenty of smoke.

When I use APP or Pinacle I use 1.9 cc's in the .45 Colt with a .454 / 250 gr RNFP.  Some compression but gives nice BOOM and plenty of SMOKE.  When using it in the .45 Schofield, I use the next size dipper down, 1.6 cc, and a 230 grain RN.  Still gives a loud report and plenty of smoke.
Listen!  Do you hear that?  The roar of Cannons and the screams of the dying.  Ahh!  Music to my ears.
