I "scored" the Remmie NMA I was looking for . . . .

I've had a Pietta Remington "Navy" for quite some time and love it - have always shot .36 although I did have a Colt '60 Army at one time many years ago.  I'd been looking to pick up a good used Remington NMA so I could have the 44 experience as well.  I looked at a lot of different "used" ones - mostly old and questionable on whether or not parts were available or not.  I'd ask a question if I need to on here in my quest and have greatly appreciated the input and advice.  I finally located a Pietta NMA that was "used" BUT actually was NIB.  Although I have never had much preference for "shiny" guns, the one I found was supposed to be "stainless".  I bought it sort of "sight unseen" and finally had a chance to go pick it up.  Sometimes, things just work out the way they ought to.  It was in the original box with all of the papers - from Cabelas - still in the original plastic wrapper even. . . . and, it WAS stainless.  The mfg code puts it as having a 2000 birthdate.  Fit and finish is wonderful, nice crisp action - a nice one.  The best part was that I got it for $199.00.  I figured it was a "no brainer".   ;D  Now to get dome time to see how it shoots!

I also picked up a Euroarms Roger & Spencer - have always liked the looks of them.  I know they aren't Remmies, but hey, they do have a top strap!  It too, was supposed to be "used" but ended up being NIB with all the paperwork, nipple wrench, spare set of nipples - in a Euroarms box but some paperwork from Dixie so I assume it came from there.  Mfg. code on that one was 2009.  The fit and finish is great on that one as well and the action is crisp and smooth.  Paid a little more - $245.00 but I hear that they are going to be harder to find so it still was below what they were normally going for new.  I was happy as was the seller so that's what counts.  Now I have to 44s - it ought to keep me occupied.

Many thanks to those who took the time to answer my questions as I was looking at the different Remmies and makes - i.e. Navy Arms, Hawes, ASM, etc.  I'm glad I ended up with the Pietta as it sure is nice and parts shouldn't be a problem.  I'm posting a couple of photos of the new "heifers" that I added to the "herd".   :)
