Put a real brim on that first one and leave the cityboy roll off the edges that'll run water down both yer nose and the back of your neck at the same time you might have something... If you don't mind the color..

Actually I like # 4 better. I went to one match a few weeks ago, one guys hat was round with a large brim that curled up so much that every time he shot his lever action rifle the empty's landed on his hat brim. 9 outta 10 rounds would land and stay. I had a hard time keepin a straight face

Number one is the bees knees. So did you do the pencil roll? How's that stiffener working for you? I hope you are limiting it to just the hats. Have you tried my corn starch cleaning trick on an old hat? What happened to the adjustable blocks? You should be able to get a fit with them in there and steam.

I don't make many comments on hat shapes, where I live it can get you in trouble, even when asked for an opinion.

I always ask "what do you like?"

I did the other day, though, I knew the kid would take it right, bull rider in one of the minor leagues, won him some money the night before. He came in and bought a fancy open crown straw with a 5 inch brim, shaped if for him, hard to describe but like nothing I ever seen before. He asked me and his friend what we thought after he was happy. The friend rolled his eyes, I simply said if he made it to the PBR and started winning the next thing you know I'd have ones just like it in stock. If he stayed in the minor leagues I said I doubt I'd see many more. The grin he gave me was priceless.

The heat of summer has affected everyone including myself. It does me different when it gets warm outside I come in and type. Guessing everyone else is busy hiding from the heat or busy with Fathers Day Festivities. My children have left me alone today per my wishes they gave me my fathers day last weekend.
