Hollywood spin on the cylinder

I don't know the proper term for this, but, on 73 SAAs the cylinder spins almost freely at half cock (like we've all seen in the movies).
My question is, do the C&B pistols just have a less forgiving cylinder? Or do mine need some work to make them spin easier?
I realize it's a Hollywood thing, and was just wondering.

Neither of mine a Uberti and ASM spin like they do in the movies and never have. I think it is another of those Movie things to make the gunfighter look badder.

The cap and balls aren't designed to spin freely.  They have only a single tooth on the hand and the hand acts like a parking brake to keep cylinder rotation under control.  If the hand pressure is to light you can get over rotation.
