Mustang Gregg

Mustang Gregg here, if anyone recollects me.   ???
I have been a real stranger around these parts for several months.
But I will do some reading and catching up on GAF doings today.

Our unit has been in prep for OEF mob lately, so I ain't had time to read any of the bulletin board forums.
After I get deployed, I'll get back to doing some GAF business [when I get some down time].

Trailrider

Just check six frequently, Pard! We'll be monitoring your frequency.
Ride to the sound of the guns, but watch out for bushwhackers! Godspeed to all in harm's way in the defense of Freedom! God Bless America!

Your obedient servant,
Trailrider,
Bvt. Lt. Col. Commanding,
Southern District
Dept. of the Platte, GAF

US Scout

Safe Trip.  And, as Lt Col Trailrider says, watch your six.  Keep us posted on your actions.

Anyone want to step us as acting Commander of the Nebraska Division?  If so, let Col Pitspitr know.

I've been thinking about the Division of Nebraska Commander position ...a lot. I have a problem with the decision, but it's a good problem. I have several candidates who would be a really good fit. Delmonico, River City John, Dalton Masterson, and Ned Neiderlander would all be great choices. All four of them have demonstrated a commitment to the Grand Army of the Frontier. Delmonico and John each have other duties that make me hesitant to name them as Mustang Gregg's substitute. The DivNeb commander will be responsible for the DivNeb Muster. Dalton and Ned each are officers of at least one club. Ned has been instrumental in establishing the skirmish format for the GAF shoots. He's also cut nearly 60 of the GAF silhouette targets. So given the resources he has available to use for a Division of Nebraska Muster I have decided to name Ned Neiderlander as Lt. Col Mustang Gregg's temporary replacement.

Not only was that authentic frontier gibberish, they weren't my ducks!  (Of course, anyone who wasn't at the DOM Muster has no clue what we're talking about. See, you all should have been there!)

Sometimes I don't think any of us in the GAF have our ducks in a row. ;)

We should have a muster sometime when it ain't real cold or real hot. ;)

I know, but it was a good opportunity to post some pictures of the fun we've had.  ;)
