swapping barrel question

I have a 1851 replica pietta steel 44 cal from emf company. I saw on vti they have a 1860 snub nose 3" barrel for sale. i thought about getting one but i wanted to know if it would fit my 1851 frame. the barrel should look like the one in this video. also second question about video i see him putting in the powder first of course what is he pouring in second before he seats the ball.

In a word, Yes.  A Pietta .44 cal 1860 Barrel will fit on a Pietta .44 Cal 1851 Navy frame.
