I finally got a subscription to GOTOW in January. When I didn't receive my Spring '11 issue, I went on to their Facebook page and the next day I called customer service. Customer service answered on the first ring and, to make a long story short, three days later I received my issue. They responded to the Facebook post less than twenty-four hours later. Kudos to the publisher and customer service.

I love the magazine.  Have repeatidly heard of troubles with their subscription service. So I never have. Buy it on the magazine rack if it is there. Which it sometimes is not.  :-\

Doesn't matter if I'm interested in the article or not, I still read it cover to cover.

I like the magazine.  I've been a subscriber for years.  I don't care for the articles about the B-western actors so I rarely read them.  Some have said they review the same guns sometimes, but the reviews are usually done by different writers, so I can live with that.  They review a lot of guns in each issue, and that I like.   8)

I actually like the B westerns and the articles about the actors. my grandmother was a dancer and knew quite a few of the actors from 30s 40s and 50s. at BBQs around them I meet a few also. most were fun guys that knew how to tell storys! DR

Wadd, . . thanks.  I've always heard bad stuff about the subscription service.  But I'll give it a try.  Always have loved the magazine.  :)

After finding it VERY rarely on the racks, I got my subscription last year.
I only have one hope/comment...I wish they would publish it more often...seeing this post made me realize my subscription has probably run out!
My wife loves it as well! (she carries a Griswold & Gunnison!)

This is my all time favorite magazine. I do love the old movies, so I  like the articles on the actors too. I just wish they would publish more often. I could read this stuff every month!

Rick,

Magazines are usually in short supply of real material done in a factual good manner .... I am guessing that, if you do the legwork it will probably get published ... which would also make you a published author ...
