This chanber brings back memories ... I used to (illegally) carry a Thompson Contender with a .45 cal/.410 shotgun barrel with choke .... I figured with a good shot, I could get a moose with the .45 (or at least really p_ss him off). and with the .410 it gave me a chance with the local ptamigans or rodents .....

This was for Northern Canada near the Arctic circle .....
My moniker is my great grandfather's name. He served with the 2nd Florida Mounted Regiment in the Civil War. Afterward, he came home, packed his wife into a wagon, and was one of the first NorteAmericanos on the Frio River southwest of San Antonio ..... Kinda where present day Dilley is ...

Think of the upside.  USFA builds very few of the guns it shows or for which it builds prototypes.  So, your chances of ever actually seeing one are very small.  Try to find an Omni-Potent. ;)

Imatation the surest for of flattery..... re: the Taurus " Judge"

What with S&W's past kinship with Taurus may be just badge engineering  :-\

Oh my.  Somebody over there must be hitting the crack again.  Why on earth would anybody want to buy that thing.  CAS people won't want it.  People who are looking for a Taurus Judge type personal protection gun wont want a single action.  It makes NO sense.  They have truely lost their minds.

I think I've seen that before... Didn't Bob Hoskins have a gun like that in the movie, "Who Framed Roger Rabbit?"

Surely, the "brass" at USFA must follow this forum somewhat. I believe that these "ideas" must come from the top and that there is this mentality there not unlike the "emperor's new clothes."  ;) People must be afraid to say "this is stupid" for fear of losing their job as I cannot believe that any sane person runnin' the railroad there really thinks that crap like this will sell. It's too bad as the company had at one time such great potential and it appears it is being run into the ground from my perspective with moronic ideas such as this when there were people literally begging for the Remington '75 clone.  ::)

This is why the Italians are kicking their butts.

Why wouldn't a sass member want this unit ?  A single action with firepower. Muscle memory is the key in a panic moment . We all fire single actions as fast as we can.  At self defense range .  The double action  trigger  pull is key to missing a target. Setting the hammer then releasing it will drive a shot on target verses having to set the hammer and release it with pull of the trigger.
Im all for it I think we need one for each side of the bed.

Anyone who uses a SA revolver for self defense is asking to get killed.  ::)
