Loading a Taurus Thunderbolt.

I bought a Taurus Thunderbolt in .38/.357.  I 've done some minor stuff and it shoots pretty good.  It feeds good with some ammo and not so good with others.  I'm not worried about that I will develop load that will feed and shoot well.  My problem is loading it.  After the second round goes in it becomes a pain to load.  I wind up working the round into the mag then using my pinky to push it all the way in.

Am I doing something wrong?  Are there some mods I can make to make this an easier process?

Honestly didn't know they ever got the 357 on the shelve.  Even some lever guns are hard to load thru the gate, some shooters use a small piece of dowel to assist some just use the next round. Don't push it all the way thru the gate till you get to the last round.

There is wisdom here for shooters of many types of lever-action rifles.
