Bob Mernickle is a TEASE!

I use Bob's shop because he came through for me on a unique customized rig for my Dan Wesson .44 Mag. He built a "Dudly Do-right" rig that is functional as well as good on the eyes, a rig design no one else would/could touch.

A few months ago, I sent Leigh Ping, my "carry" skillet to Bob, Sherrie, and Steve for them to make a holster for her. Meant as a fun thing, I was in no hurry.

Meanwhile, I got crescent ejectors placed on my RV's and my old holsters no longer fit my revolvers, so I called them again to order an entire new rig. We decided on a variation of the Holy Terror Rig, but with two toned leather. Bob and the folks there know what I like and I trust them, so I had full confidence in telling Bob that if he wanted to be creative to "go for it."

I just got off the phone with them. As soon as Bob heard who it was, he started yelling and laughing. Steve in the shop started yelling and laughing. They finished my rig right before I called and were taking pictures of it. Bob received some new equipment and used it on my rig. He said he couldn't really describe it, but I'd love it. He liked it so much he wanted one for himself.

He said it was so cool, the folks from Tandy Leather were coming over to look at it. When I asked what he'd done, Bob replied: "I was creative."
"Aw, common, Bob, you're better with words than that!"
"Ok, I was very creative."
"It's not garish or loud, is it?" The concern crept into my voice.
"NO! I wouldn't do that to you! You have to come over right now and see it!"
"Bob... "
"I can't describe it!"
"Bob Mernickle, you are a tease."
"Yep, I am!"

He wouldn't put Steve on the phone. He knew that if he had, I would have had Steve hit him with Leigh Ping.

I'll get the new rig early next week. In the meantime,
