A friend has inquired about a trigger modification for his 94 Winchester....in the past he owned one with a large lever loop and a screw used for rapid fire.  He would like that modification on his current rifle.  Its obvious the installation has to be perfect or the rifle might fire before the lugs were totally engaged.  Has anyone had any experience with this modification or know perhaps where there are schematics or dimensions for the installation?  Or perhaps a smith willing to make the modification?  llc

I don't know of any gunsmith that will do this mod as it is an extreme liability issue.  Anytime a gun will fire without pulling the trigger it is an accident waiting to happen.  Nice on TV, but not for the real world.

I asked him how many toes he wanted to loose from this modification, he indicated he still wanted to have another rifle with that mod.  I will pass your wise not on to him and perhaps he will pay attention.  Very rapid fire with almost any weapon is normally only a good way to increase ammo costs.........llc
