Thinking of buying me my first  Schofield.
But i can't decide which one.

The Black

The White

Not easy!!

I say the white. Perfect for plating.
A work in progress.

Buy one of each, then switch the barrels.

That'd be an interesting brace of pistolas.

Since you asked.
I don't like the white grips at all. I don't really care for shiney wooden grips.
I think I'd put Ivory, or ivory like, grips on both guns.
Since I'm from Texas a Five Point Star carved into both sides would look really good.

I'd hafta say the Black.
I have a few revolvers of each type, but always been kinda partial to blued firearms.

It all depends on what look yer goin for. If you want a more elegant look, i'd go with the white
But if you want more of a "Dead Man's Gun" look, I'd go with the black. ::)
But if it was me, I'd snag em both up ;) ;D
Never squat with yer spurs on!!!

Either or both. Wow. Those are nice guns. Where did you find them? Care to share where I can possibly buy something like that? Also price would be helpful.  ;D

I guess that this pic gives my preferences .... although I bought them as is, I would not have ordered than any differently...that is, if I could afford to .... LOL

My moniker is my great grandfather's name. He served with the 2nd Florida Mounted Regiment in the Civil War. Afterward, he came home, packed his wife into a wagon, and was one of the first NorteAmericanos on the Frio River southwest of San Antonio ..... Kinda where present day Dilley is ...

The two top breaks that started this thread are what Uberti calls their "hand engraved Top Break models". The MSRP ('08) was listed as $3139 for the blued steel with gold inlays, and $2999 for the nickelel one. Way too steep for this poor boy!

RickB

Yes, steep indeed. They sure are beautiful works of art thought. Wish Santa would bring me some of those for Christmas.
