I got into CAS about 13 years a go. You could buy a nice SXS, used, for about $125. It's like 5 times that now and few stay on the market longer than a few months. I would think someone could build a good serviceable ready to use SXS for about $500 but hey what do I know?

Baikal is back at EAA, one of the best mid priced SXS for CAS. Base price around $300, add $100-$125 for an action job and you've got one of the most popular SXS for the game. The hammer double is around $464.

I got a SXS 20 guage last Christmas and I know it was $250.00. It was sold at a local sporting goods store (Dunham's sporting goods) and is made by Jing in China and imported by CAI in Georga.
