I saw a past post from lonesone henry stating that he got a henry rifle patch. I was wondering if lonesome, or anyone else knew where i could get one?

The patch is 'one of a kind' .A friends wife made it for me.

;)

thanks for getting back to me about the rifle patch Lonesome Henry. I had a feeling someone made it for you. Your friend should go into business they could make millions, they did a nice job! Well i'm off to the range to blast some reloads. thanks again

There is a lady in FL that makes patches for me with my company logo and she is very adept at getting the details right.
The digitizing charge is about $50 and the patches are under $10 each.
Maybe enough Henry owners are interested in patches to make it worthwhile?
I would be happy to give you her info and would also buy a couple of patches if it was worthwhile to pursue it.

count me in, sky soldier. i'd only want a couple though. what info do you need from me?

cactus joe

i'm not sure about all the legal particulars, we may have to clear it with lonesome Henry's friend since it was her design.

The design was mine. ;D
It shows my Henry Rifle.

After i got my Spencer Shooting Society patch, i told him about my idea of a Henry Rifle patch.
I didn't thought that his wife made one for me.

First things first. Are we permitted to organize a group buy on this site.
If so, I will contact her and get firm pricing. I don't think the copyright thing will be an issue as she will have to digitize her own layout for the patch (thus the base charge) so it won't be the same. In fact we can make it anything we want.
If we can order 50 patches, that only adds $1 to the cost of each patch and there are over 100 names on the owners roster.

Maybe the Mods will help me out on the first issue and I'm open to suggestions.

seems like to me the main problem is getting this operation organized. I don't have any suggestions like you say maybe the mods can help. as for modifying the patch,i hope she can keep it as close as possible to Lonesome Henrys design, its like the Henry rifle pretty much perfect the way it is. just my opinion anyway. i did wonder why the gun in the design appeared to have a nickle plated now i know why after seeing lonsome's henry, pictured above. really a beautiful rifle. not the kind of rifle you'd find in your local walmart store. It puts mine almost to shame.

Sky Soldier

If that's OK with Lonesome Henry it's fine with me. I would rather see a little yellow thread on the breech.
I contacted her today. She said if she can make up 100 patches they would be $8 each and she would waive the digitizing fee.
I will be happy to give you her contact info and you can deal directly with her. Email me.

No problem !!!
Question: What frame? Iron or brass?
Oh btw, i want one. ;D

cactus joe

I'm going to guess it's a brass receiver, but like my wife says i've been wrong before.      By the way sky soldier for some reason my email info that i am trying send you  keeps getting sent back to me as unreceived mail.

Sky Soldier

cactus joe.
I sent you an email with my new email address. I guess it was about time to update my profile. If you go to my profile and click on my website then click on store and scroll down to towels you can see a sample of her work.

Brass
;)

cactus joe

hey, if anyone is intersted in getting a henry shooters patch , designed by Lonesome henry, let sky soldier know. See the design posted by lonesome in this thread.

Sky Soldier

There doesn't seem to be enough interest to make it worthwhile. I will remain on standby till someone comes up with some ideas.

If you like...you can author a thread with the sample photo with cost & particulars...post it and I'll make it a sticky

There some 135 Henry shooters listed....a sticky could give you a good starting point
when planets align...do the deal !

Sean Thornton

I would be interested ;D ;D ;D  I have the Spencer patch and it looks great so a Henry patch would be a good idea. Here is the Spencer patch if you haven't seen it.
