Can you make a Spencer in 45LC cycle using 45 Schofield?

Just as the title says, I have an Armi Sport Spencer in 45LC and would like to be able to run Schofields through it if am in the mood. Can this be done by switching out some parts or is it more complicated than that? I picked up my Spencer less than a week ago so you are dealing with someone with extremely little Spencer knowledge

I would imagine by changing the Lane type extractor so the distance between the magizine and the extractor- cartridge stop is closer when fully open by the diffrence in cartridge lenth,then you would still have to change the extractor when you wanted to go back 45 colt
