i bought a black powder 44 rev. i am trying to figure out the proof marks. the usual stuff on the net is not helping to get it all figured out. im sure its a 1972 because of the XX8. i think its a gardone and brescia because of the 2 proofs that are star surrounded by eight lands over a coat of arms featuring a hammer and anvil and crossed bayoneted rifles. the second is star surrounded by eight lands and grooves over capital letters PN. these are the only three i have. now this maybe as simple as it being a 1972 gardone and brescia 44. anyway just making sure. it does have 1 other stamp on the bottom of the grip, its stamped RAG. thanks for any help, jeff

That's bad business! How long do you think I'd stay in operation if it cost me money every time I pulled a job? If he'd pay me that much to stop robbing him, I'd stop robbing him.

Ya probably inherited every penny ya got!
