Now that winter's on the way it's getting tougher to suntan leather. I seem to remember someone saying you could tan leather with EVOO and the above. Any thoughts, pards?

Tie me Kangaro..... wait a minute....

Skeeter, I have been doing this quite a bit lately. I have been using EVOO, and then laying it on the dash of my pickup while at work. I flip it around once in awhile so that the sun hits it evenly, but that probably doesnt matter much.

In the winter its harder, but the dash seems to work for me then too.

I dry most of my home made walnut dye stuff in the sun. During the winter I hang it from my trucks sun visors and lay the belts on the dash.

The amount of time in the stain as well as the time in the sun determines their color. Can range from a tan to dark brown.
