She has been in Memphis for a week  (she is an auditor for the Dept. of Defense & a CPA,had ta go for training)   
I will get to see and touch her again       
She will get to see and touch me again                   
I gotta go now..........

His wifes been gone fer a week, house must be mess.  Best to clean up the place and yerself before she sees it.  Heres some tips, it don't take a lot time, women just make it look hard.

Dishes and yerself, full the tub and squirt in some dish washin soap, get the brush from the garage ya used to clean yer tires, look around under the kitchen sink and find that rack fer dryin dishes, put the dishes in one end of the tub and you get in the other.  Scrub up the dishes first and put the clean ones in the rack next to the tub.  Some of the stuff from early in the week may be hard to get off, a putty knife or wire brush in yer eclectic drill will get it off. 

When yer done with the dishes take the rack back to the kitchen and put it on the counter next to the sink.  (remember ta get dressed) Walk around and check all the beer cans to make sure they's all empty, drink up any with beer still in 'em.  Go back to the garage and get yer leaf blower.  Open all the doors and winders then start in the kitchen and blow dry the dishes.  Start kind of in the middle of the house and with yer leaf blower blow all the empty beer cans, news papers, potato chip bags, etc. out the door.  You can also dust the whole house like this in minutes.  Once ya get all the junk outside blow it in the weeds at the side the yard, ya can deal with it later or mulch it up with the lawn mower. 

You'd best do somethin about the bed too.  You could always make it but I find that's a lot of work.  Best thin to do is take the sheets and pillow cases off and put 'em in the washin machine.  Don't turn it on or nothin, just tell yer wife you was wantin to wash 'em but couldn't figger how ta get the dang thing ta work.
Now you've got the house and yerself sparkin clean in less that a half hour, lock it up and head fer the airport ta get yer wife.

Howdy......
Well...I made it. I cleaned up a little (the vaccume died so I'm off the hook there  )  I had a lot of 'TV Dinners' and used paper plates so all I had was trash and dirty forks (throwed 'em the dish washer) I spent a lot of time in the jacuuuuuze, at 103deg ya come out clean....well....sort of 
When I got to the airport, I had a little time ta kill so off I went to the bar. I had a double Jack & water ta start  . I looked at the time and had time for a single...so I did short one. I go and check the schedule and see the flight is runnin a little late sooo back to the bar. Had another double Jack & water, looked at the time, holy crap  it's time    I chugged down the rest of it (in record time) and stagger off to meet Bev (the wife  )  After a 'few' kisses          she knows I have been in the bar. We picked up her luggage and head to the car. She asked if she needs ta drive. I tell her 'if ya think I'm walkin well enough, i can drive. Let me know when we get to the car (a reeeeeal long and sobering walk) it's your call. We went to bed early and 'made up for lost time' (a weeks worth)        . I / we woke up happy but tired     I think I'm gettin too old for them 'all nighters' (I'm gonna be 56 this month)
We are gonna BBQ tonight, then into the jacuuuuuze and then make sure we made up for ALL of the 'lost time'         
I hope I live through it...........

My wife's been back in Wisconsin since June 20th, and isn't due back until the 13th of July.  I'm thinkin' I might not make it through the homecoming!
