Howdy Everyone,
I was wondering if anyone on here knew of anyone that truely wants to get into leather work but can't afford any tools.
I have a bunch of those stamps left that I got when I bought that school tools.(That was a Big mistake) So what I want to do is help some one, I don't what to send these tools to some one wanting to scam me!!! I feel that I can trust my friends on here, so if you run across some poor person that would love to have some simple stamps and a swivel knife, please get a hold of me.
May God be with you all.

I have been teaching a friend of mine some leather work. He could use a swivel knife, I only have one and it makes it difficult when we have to keep using the same one. I already gave him a bunch of stamps, so he is OK there. Thanks

What about your local 4-H clubs Ace? They have a leatherworking project in it I bet. Mine did.

Good to see you by the way!

I'm a Scout leader and have been trying to scrounge up some for them but as Dalton said you might even check with any local 4H or Scout groups.

The kids seem to really like the craft and I've got a few they can use but I've actually thought of going to Tandy and buying some for them so if no one else steps up I can make sure they go for a good cause with our Scout troop.

Hey Ace!!! Good ta hear from again pard! I would have to agree with Dalton and Cliff on the tools pard! Can't think of a better place to get the best use from those tools than in teaching a youngster how to use them.  The Scouts, or the 4H club would make good use of them, and they would be passed down for many years after that! If you give em to the kids have them be sure to send ya pics of there work, and please share it with us! Take care pard!

Hi Ace, I wanted to talk to the young lad I had in mind before I mentioned it here...

I got to talk to him today. And he would very much like some of his own tools. This young man just turned 12 and has been really into the leatherwork for a few years now. He is gifted to say the least.
I cannot believe the work this little guy turns out. His name is Cameron.

Without going into his whole life story I can surely say this young man could use the help. He has had a rough begining as both his mom and dad were shot by a real "Smuck" ... In a rage one night he emptied a couple  45 ACP magazines into a croud of really great people. Lost one of my best friends and  wounded 6 others >:( >:( :'( :-\

Both mom and dad lived but it has been a  long road for them.... so if you are offering to get a yound man a good start than I would like to nomintate Cameron.

Thank you Ace as I am sure there are a lot of great kids that could really gain a lot from your generousity. ;)
