Howdy, my 'puter's been slow tonight, so I opened my log of incoming events on my firewall. I saw a bunch of attempts to access ports, but that's usual stuff.

What's strange is that someone with IP address 201.132.90.73, has been attempting to access port  42530 on 9/11/2005 at 9:55:54 PM.  I traced it back to Guadalajara, Mexico. When I traced it, who ever it was made two attempts. I've banned the address and now there's  been 17 additional attempts.

The date of the attempts is causing me to raise my eyebrows. Is anything like this happening to other folks out there?

Thanks,

AnnieLee

It seems my hypocrocy knows no bounds.

If you are running McAfee, do a right mouse click on the McAfee icon on your toolbar at the bottom of your screen. Then put your cusor over "Personal Firewall" and another small window should open. When it opens, click on "incoming events". That window will go away and a new window will open that will show you all the attempts that have been made to access your computer.

Hope this helps and thanks for your kind words about Will. It was wonderful to meet you!
