Sad news.

I've been reading his words for 8 or 9 years. I had the pleasure to meet him 4 years ago, but didn't get a chance to spend much time with him, which I regret. I'll be praying for his family.

I loved him........as anyone who met him did. My heart is just breaking for Miz Annie and all of us who no longer will get to spend any time with Bill.
I could write pages and pages.. but just can't seem to gather my thoughts without the tears interfering..
My one calming factor is that we spent lots of time talking about "the other side"..and I know that the celebration for his homecoming is going on right now and he and his Granddaddy are enjoying all that heaven has to offer...
We will all someday.. see you again Tensleep..

I had the pleasure of meeting and knowing Tensleep and Miz Annie. He was proud to be a Texan, an Aggie, and a Master Mason. I will miss him. I plan on attending the service in Edom on Sat. My prayers go out to Miz Annie and Sleep's family. I will miss his dry wit.

I shot with Tensleep on Saturday and I still can't quite come to grips with the fact that he is not with us any longer. He was a friend, he was more than family, and we shared many a conversation about more topics than I can remember over the years. Bill was the Spirit of the Game in everything he did and he walked that Cowboy Way every day of his life. I strongly belive that he will never be gone, because his spirit will live on in the lives of everyone he has touched. Go with God, my friend, and may our actions to others be a tribute to everything you taught us in your life.

Saddens me to hear the news....

Miz Annie and to all of you that knew him please accept my deepest condolences and Prayers .

I feel the loss, though I only knew him from his written words here, the quality that was Tensleep shows in the Friends he knew.

I will also miss your posts, though I never had the pleasure of meeting. Miz Annie please know we fellow pards apprieciated his knowledge & wit, Ten sleep's contibution to our lives speak volumes for CAS City's legacy.

The Mattaponi Sundowners Match on Sunday was dedicated to Tensleep. Utah Bob was very generous and allowed me to post his poem on The "In Memory of Tensleep" page on my web site. We are all brothers and sisters in the eyes of God. One of our brothers has gone home and will be waiting for us there. He has gone ahead to ensure the camp is set and all is ready for the rest of us to arrive. Until then he will see the most pure of dawns and sleep each night in the arms of the Lord. We mourn for ourselves and his family, not for him, for he is now where there is no pain, no sorrow and no strife. He is home.

I met Tensleep here on CAS City and being the new guy he gave me hell and I gave it right back. We knew it was in good fun, if folks saw our PM's compared to what was posted on the forum they would laugh. Later I got to know Bill Cole on facebook where we would chat for hours. We were both out of character then and they were some of the most pleasant conversations I have ever had. Heck, we traded recipes. He was a blessed man and I pray that his family and friends have received comfort over the time that has past.
