. . . the damn tomatoe cannery is broke down AGAIN.  . . yud think with 9 months of the year not opperating it . . . they could do enouf maintenance so that it cud opperate 24/7 for the three month tomatoe season ?   it is a month ago tomorrow that we started hauling tomoatoes and this is the 4th shut down      And I can't really go any whurs as there is not telling how long the shut down is / or isn't . . .

No shortage of tomatoes . . . just this one cannery . . of several that do the same stuff . . . . But broke down for the 4th time in a month     All these here tomatoes are turned into tomatoe paste and shipped around to other plants to be catsup, spaghetti sauce, BBQ sauce, etc. . . . the tomatoes can ripen a bit more and still be hauled in . . . . but 4 break downs is pretty rediculous . .

That's pretty messed up Wolfy,sounds like shenannegans to me...We had a guy at the county that knew how to rig the oil sand mixing machine at the right time so he could go home or take a nap in his truck.Get about 6 loads out and call in that it was broke down and he was the only one that could operate the dang thing.We would be way out in the country and have to sit and wait in 100 degree or more heat...

I don't know whut breaks down in a tomatoe cannery.   But I figur it must just be poor maintenance , . . .  

It aint't just catsup . . . the "tomato goop" is used in the making of everything prepared that has tomatoe in it . . . but there are several other enoumous plants running 24/7 and making the same "tomatoe goop" . . .

They say that legalization will make the price drop from $ 235 oz. to $ 35 an oz. and it is so easy to grow that people will be growing their own in the back yard or window pots . . . . so I don't thunk ther wil be any $s in it.

its legal here, 'medically' one local grower claims a PROFIT of 1/2 million $$$$ in last 6 months....
