PUK in for Hip Replacement Surgery

My very good pard Paladin UK known to us all as PUK, goes in for hip replacement surgery on Tuesday.

He has been in a lot of pain for an awful lot of years and now finds it difficult to do most things including CAS which is the biggest part of his life apart from Sandy (Annie O) his wife.

I am sure he would appreciate a few good wishes from his Pards on the wire for a succesful outcome.

Damn, I am sorry to hear that about our good pard Paladin UK. I wish him all the best. I know he will be good as new once he mends and does his physical therapy. I will say a prayer for sure.

He would heal instantly if they would cauterize his wound with BP, but those doctors like to use more modern methods these days like stiches.

A UK pard I have not seen for a couple years and I worry about is Big John Denny. He is big of course. He had ventured over here a few times to shoot with us at the John Wayne Shootout and I enjoyed meeting and talking to him, when I could actually understand him.

I hope that Paladin UK will be just fine after the surgery.
Pain is no fun to have.

I have pard with a replacement hip....certainly raises the interest level at airports, and he just thought the stewardesses were flirting. Turned out it's was not his magnetic personality.

Good luck PUK! Just remember the surgery is the beginning of the end of the pain. A cowboy with two knee and a shoulder replaacement. It'll give you your life back!

My Dad just had this surgery in his late 70's and is doing great.

The comment heard most is why did I not do this sooner!

Ya`ll got me well `blushed up` here!! I`m touched by yer kind words and thoughts.

I go in on Tuesday morning and hopefully if everything goes to plan, I will be cut loose on the following Monday.
With Annie `O`s care I will be up `n` runnin in no time!!

My gal Red Molly had a total right hip replacement in January. Blew through six weeks of rehab in three!

Walks just a sexy as ever. Just do the rehab like they want you to and then walk on that new hip to get it back in shape. Best of luck to you PUK.

PUK -- Best of Wishes with your surgery!!!! After having both hips and 1 knee (still need the other knee done) done, I can tell you it all worth. Just do the post-op as they tell you you'll be a good as new. -- Grizhicks

From one old beat up Black Powder shooter to another, I wish you a easy and "HAPPY RECOVERY" with little pain. I found oput in Dec. of 09 that I was only breathing on one lung. Doctor said to not shoot in hot Louisiana heat. I said I was going to shoot just give me some oxygen so I may keep going. He did and I am so I know you will be back also. Take Care David
