Here is something I just finished to wear to my son's wedding on Sat.
I saw this at  the Autry Museum years ago and thought it was really cool and said I want to make one but I needed a good reason, I found one.
here is the pix of the original and my remake. Tooled collar and bib.

That's a period style of hatband. See the young cowboy on page 118 of Packing Iron.

I would like to show off two knife sheaths that the Gun Butcher made for me, the brown one is the frist one he made and I just left it up to him and from our talking about what I had in mind he put togather just what I was looking for. the black one i sent him a drawing I made(i can't draw worth a crapp) and I sent him the  snake skin and add on's and look at what he did with it.

Cowboy WC  that is a nice shotgun case. The carving is amazing. The shirt for your sons wedding is equally as nice. You'll be stylin.

That's some great work, Wayne. The shotgun case is really cool. I missed the collar and bib at the Autry museum, but next time in there, I'll look for it. Very interesting idea. Yours is really beautiful.
