My new Buntline just came in!!!

She just came in, my new Colt Custom Shop Buntline. Feast your eyes on her beauty. I can't believe they made a blue custom shop box to fit it.

NICE! Are you planning to shoot it? Are you going to put it in a holster? Even with a cowhide-lined holster, there is bound to be some bluing wear at the 7-9 places where the gun must contact the inside of the rig.

(First holster and belt rig I ever made for someone other than my self was for my section OIC in the Air Force...for his 2nd Gen Colt's buntline. Last time I talked with him (3 years ago), he was still using it!

I like to put some wear on these babies. I forgot to mention how tickled I was that they roll stamped Buntline Special on the barrel. I didn't order that at all and they threw it on there for free.
