Nice looking "short" sword. My only issue with "their" description is calling this a "Bowie" knife. It's like me trying to describe a 66 Lincolin Continental as a compact.

It's more of a Naval cutlass than a bowie and I question it's attribution as ACW Confederate, too.

   Like RCJ said, it was a cutlass that was broke in half, then a point ground into it, it was never a bowie knife, Chuck Connors played a Union officer that was broken down and kicked out of service, it was a good series for the time.
