Membership Question

I have sent in my membership application at least twice starting more than two months ago.  Still no response.     I am wondering if there is something more I am supposed to do?  I am shooting GAF with the Plum Creek Shooting Society in Lockhart, TX, and am enjoying it and the other GAF shooters.  I plan to attend the national muster in Lockhart in November.  Hoping to be on the GAF roster before then.

Try to be patient.Our enlistment officer as are all of our officers is a volunteer and therefore sometimes work and family have to come first. Until you see your name officially posted and a membership number listed consider yourself a member and welcome to my Department! I look forward to meeting you in November.

Try it on line via the website once more and also PM me the information.  We'll get it done. 

I see the applications that come in online, though I leave it to Bvt Lt Col Jefferson to process them.  If you send it in online that will tell me if the system is working or not. 

On the other hand, as has been pointed out, we rely on volunteers and sometimes life gets in the way.  It may well be that you're application was received and noted but we failed in notifying you.
