I really like Irish Dave's S&Ws but they are for a model 3 and would not fit I don't think.

I have an open mind.

Try - 'Vintage Gun Grips' to see if they produce them.

They produce a whole host of replacement grips for handguns that are re-branded by other sellers.

KCub,

When I bought my Navy Arms Schofields new, they were equipped with stag grips ..... and although stag grips are considered as hollywood as Buscadero holsters, after a year of using them, I would not trade them for a 'correct' set of grips .... and as an aside, they are real purty.

If you are interested, send me a PM and I will find who made them ..

My moniker is my great grandfather's name. He served with the 2nd Florida Mounted Regiment in the Civil War. Afterward, he came home, packed his wife into a wagon, and was one of the first NorteAmericanos on the Frio River southwest of San Antonio ..... Kinda where present day Dilley is ...

Those look nice.
I wonder if they are these?  I'm not spending $175 for grips on this gun though.

Actually, I think they are ... the previous owner had 'tricked' them out  ... EXTREMELY smooth actions, brass blade front sight, the rear sights enlarged a bit .... and it did seem he mentioned Eagle Grips ...

K-Cub,
What exactly are you looking for grip wise? I have 2 Stoeger Uberti Schofields that I removed the original grips and replaced with faux ivory that I got from Tee Pee Creeper. Are you looking for the walnut grips? RC

Not sure what I'm looking for.  I just won this auction and I may want some other grips.

Lucky you!

I am so envious!

Tell you what... if I was you, I would shoot them just as they are for a few months .... and  I have a suggestion ... I plan to be shooting with the Texican Rangers the first weekend in October (October 9th I believe)  ... and you are welcome to try mine out and see if you like them enough for the expense .... I have never shot a Schofield with stock grips ... I have the stock grips for my guns ... but I have always wondered of the tradeoff between kickback vs accuracy in a 5" vs my 7" barrels ... mine are like buttah, and are nail drivers ... but pulling them out of the holster is like pulling out short sabers ....

Think about it ... we have until October to work it out ... if it seems like it might work, send me a PM ... I will also be at my cousin's B&B that is the old Ellis ranch near Mason ... we could not shoot on her land, but probably can find a place nearby ... here is the Texican Ranger and my cousin's B&B websites:

Besides, it would be nice to meet face to face and chat with ya ... cousin Raye tells me there is some awesome BBQ and Tex-Mex nearby ... *S*

BTW, I should be at the Ellis Ranch B&B From OCt. 5th-8th ...

We might be able to do that.  I've never shot CAS before, but I'd give it a try.
I just like to collect and shoot guns which I've been doing most of my 53 years.

The place I usually shoot is between Bertram and Burnet run by a former green beret who is a very handy gunsmith.

It's just an informal range where you can go blast targets, soda cans, watermelons etc.
Bertram has great bbq to be featured in Texas Monthly soon.
Burnet has an old cavalry fort converted to a museum.

I'm out there most weekends and you're welcome to shoot any of my guns whenever.

Give Don Collins a ring:  http://www.collinscraftgrips.com/

He's a great craftsman and can make grips out of a variety of material.  He made me some grips for my Uberti Schofield out of ivory colored Corian.  He made a matching pair for my Russian.  Very nicely done.  His grips usually run $80 to $100.  If you email him, he may have something in stock.

I don't recall where I got these stag grips for my Schofield.  I'd intended to purchase the longer bbl, but this was the only one available when I got mine about 10 years ago.

Try Tombstone Grips for faux ivory. Also search gunbroker.com there's some faux ivories there as well and some faux stags I think.
