Let's see:

Roop County   12 shoots per year  x 12 years –last January             143
End of Trail                  15
High Sierra                  12
Local matches in So. Cal before moving         20+
Other Misc. annual matches            10+

Guess that comes somewhere around                    200+

Not as many as I would have liked to have shot!

My count is 64.  That is SASS, NCOWS, & unaffiliated cowboy-type shoots.
I keep records (since 2001, anyhoo)!!!

I have cut way back on my trap & HP rifle shootin'.  Ain't been to a silhouette pistol match in a coupla years, neither. Dang, this CAS stuff is addictive.

It'd take too long ta figger it up.  Way o'er a hunnert.

Gonna miss the one a month it Pungo.  That one alone goin' back ta '98 accounted fer a bunch.

How many have I shot?  5 years of averaging probably 3.5 a month works out to around 210.  That's my best guess.  And that's just CAS matches.  I've shot a bunch of IPSC, Steel Challenge, and BPCR Sillywets too.

Doc

Griff

Let's see, 5 years of running LSFSC and attended every match   = 60,
& averaged 2-1/2 matches a months for 4 years prior to that = 1,440
Yep, that'd be a conservative average.
Whew, glad I've slowed down.

I've had to really cut back the last 3 summers.  My health has kept me away from many shoots and now, these un-Godly gas prices are playing their part in keeping me from shooting.

I'm jealous of all of you who are at or over 100!

Three and a half years with an average 12 months of 2.5 shoots per month = 105
During March - November ... 3-4 matches a month.  One match in December we shot with 12" of snow on the ground ;D

Fortunately, living in Tucson there are five clubs here, one in Tombstone and three in Pheonix if your willing, a pard could shoot every weekend. I've only been shooting about seven months or so and it's great to be able to shoot all the time. Traveling around this great state to shoot you get to see some fine things and meet some real fine people. So in the short time I shot over thirty matches and loved them all!!!

Somewhere north of a hunnerd. But it ain't how many you've shot it's how many did you enjoy and I've thoroly enjoyed em all cept maybe that one the sleet was comin in sideways.

Lou Graham

So many shoots, so little time............ ;D
Our "season" is roughly April to November.  A few clubs shoot on Saturday, so I can do one on Sat. and one on Sun. some of the time.  A few have an indoor shoot in the winter, so I can do that to dispel the cabin fever.

Sheeesh, with all that shooting, you'd think I'd be better at it by now ;D
