Hey Guys,

I'm well into the pattern for the Johnny Ringo Rig.  I've got all the individual holster variations done, the belt pattern done, the proto-type done, now I just have to build the "How-To" site, transfer all my patterns and instructions onto the large sheets to get published, and create the envelope front and back with the materials and tools list.

I just got started on the web page and don't have any instructions yet, just a photo of the finished rig that will be in the pattern, and a still from "Tombstone".  I may even include a "How-To" on making Johnny Ringo's spur leathers on the web page.  But, that's all yet to get done.  Right now, I've got to head out to meet the rest of my sisters and brothers and take my dad to a belated Father's Day lunch.  I'll get back to work on the sight after I get back.

Hey Guys,

I'm happy to get this Ringo Rig out there.  It has been one of my most requested patterns, (even though I didn't do the rig in the movie!).

Cowboy316, I'm sure you'll do great with it.  If you have any problems, you can get some tips from Dalton.  He knocked his "Hand of God" rendition right out of the park!

Hey Dalton,

Yeah, I looked all over for the right conchos.  The originals from the movie looked to be silver with stampings.  The contour of the conchos had been changed by the stamps and weren't perfectly round any more.  So, when I carved out the wax masters for casting conchos, I replicated the distortions in the silver from the tools.

The conchos that I'm sellin' are white bronze.  When I first had the conchos cast, I had a set made in silver.  I just used those silver conchos for the proto-type that will be on the envelope cover.  As the dollar get more and more worthless, it takes more and more of 'em to buy silver with!  Imagine that.

I got the second page of the "How-To" done.  I should finish up the third and last page today.  Then, I'll be able to get back to work finishin' up the pattern.

Thanks Dalton!
Will

Hey Boothill Bob,

I'm havin' some problem findin' a convenient way of doin' commerce overseas.  But, I can get ya' the conchos when I get ya' the pattern.

Will thank you so much for sharing.  Every time I read your posts I pick up new "secrets of the trade".  I particularly like the instructions on how you attach your spots.  It is such a better method than just bending them over.

Boothill Bob

That sounds good Will. I'll order it true Dick, he has paypal
so I can transfer money to him.

No, not saying that. I actually own several copies, and saw it on the big screen with my girlfriend in high school. Great movie.
Its just I havent had time here lately to dig it out and watch it to see what the Ringo rig looks like.
