howdy pards
just finished up drawing a carving pattern for a colt 1851 law dog holster
and am hinkin bout putting together a patern pack for different holster
and this would be one of them what do ya think or im i off my
stick horse LOL
let me know what ya think gang thanks

Beautiful Tim.
You may want to make the pattern go a little bit further around the holster though. (add more the the right side in you pic).
When its rolled over, you want the illusion that the carving goes all the way around, or at least covers more than just the front.
Just a thought, but I think it looks great as is too.

You are getting there but it needs some work.
The 3 sections where the pattern is running in a straight line needs to be changed.

I missed this one the other day Cowboy. Sorry pard! It's lookin good pard! I like it. Dalton had a good piece of advice though. The right side of the carving needs to wander over some. Just ta make sure when you fold it it covers around to the backside! Love the design and the carving pattern though. Now as for your last question. I think in order to want to and to do leather work, you have to be off your stick horse!!! I know I am!  ;D
