Pee pee dancing ......and the dreaded chicken dance??

Set to Scottish bagpipes next year?

Awww ... do we have to wait 'til next year for the Pipes?   

(I already have a tune picked out on my Black Watch Pipe Band CD which seems ideal for an entry in the "Pee Pee Fling" category!   Provided somebody has a boombox or the like to play it on, that is ... been hoping such a contraption would be available, as the music for the Colors Ceremonies was played on one last year ....)

Are you gonna dance in the Pee Pee Fling category? At least do a victory dance since there seem to not be more than 1 dancer in that category. I would sure think the competitors should get to pick the music they dance to, although Major Lewis seems to have a preference for the schottish Idioten.

So far, have not heard of a Scottish bagpipe player for Friday night campfire -- are there any? Is Major Lewis gonna allow electontric contraptions?

FYI: The Danes thought the schottish dance came from Skottland because that is where it came to Danmark from and, since Danmark ruled much of Sweden for a long time, the Swedes still call it "Schottis". The Norwegians call a generally livelier version of the same dance "Reinlander", for the Rheinland part of Germany from where the dance is generally thought to have originated. Are there schottis tunes for Scottish bagpipes?

We are coming down to game time.  I am EXTREMELY pleased with the registrations thus far.  I have made 50 copies of the shooter's handbook and you know what, I just may need to make more....

As of today, I have 42 registered.  And I can think of at least 3 Registrations more that I will be getting (note that I am not counting birds in the bush until I have them in hand).  So, last year I had  I had 29 Registered and 27 show up.  That is growth of over 44% if I do not get another registration.

I will also point out that there are a whole lot of Duelist (15), especially Black Powder Duelists (7)....It is truly my hope that EVERYONE that is able to make the trip thoroughly enjoys themselves.
