Win. 1897 takedown. Bolt not locking forward

Hi Pards, I  have a 1897 takedown E series. The bolt will cycle all the way forward but wont lock.  If I pull the slide it comes back instead of locking in the forward position like my other 97's do. What should I look for? I had it apart and back together several times using the cowboys and Indian instruction DVD and could not find anything unusual. I'm I missing something? Thanks, JB

Update!!   After checking Marauders shotgun page with the 97 exploded view I see that part #70 the action slide lock spring is missing. Is this an expensive part? Where do I get one? does it have to be a Winchester part or will one from Marty the parts guy at IAC (Norinco) work?   Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, JB
