Pards! I just picked up a calf skin and a rabbit hide with the hair on them. I am going to use these mostly for background in photos I take of leather and firearms. I need to store them in between photo shoots though.

What is the best way to store them?

Can they be folded up and stored in container?

If they can be folded should the hair be in or exposed?

Help me out fellas! Thanks in advance!

amin, I haven't had to do this, but I would think if you were to roll the hides up, and tie it off, and then roll it up in brown paper and just turn the ends in to the center of the roll , that this should be all that's necessary to keep them clean and in good condition, this would also allow the leather to breath, I get my brown paper rolls from Lowe's or Home Depot, they're used for laying on the floor to protect the carpet or floor when painting or such, I use this paper for making my fist patterns, and then poster paper as a final template. You can always call Tandy and ask them for there recommendations. But this is how I would do it to save space, if you have enough space, you could just lay them flat and cover them with the brown paper.

Thanks TW! I am very limited on space, so I will need to roll them up. I'll get some paper tomorrow. Thanks pard!
