Remington rolling block/buffalo rifles

Hello... I just kinda always associated the long range rolling block with buffalo rifles. I'm partial to Remingtons rolling block. Here some pictures of a very rare on. Its in 44-90, built about 1876 or 77. Perfect bore, functions well and some color left on it.  The most unusual aspect of it is the fact it full octagon at 34". To date there only 3 known to exist. One to Maj Fulton, 1 to GA Custer, and this one. I have owned it now for over 25 years. Really enjoy seeing the great works of art(rifles) from back when. And It can and does shoot. Perfect bore for the standard at that time, paper patched bullets. I hope you enjoy the pictures.
