Reminder Tyler Texas Peacemakers Match This Saturday!

Just a reminder to everyone that we will be hosting our monthly match this Saturday at Tyler, Texas. Registration begins at 9:00AM, Safety Meeting at 9:15 and start shooting at 9:30. Our stages will be based upon Sam Bass and his exploits, and we will be inaugurating a new "Sodbuster" catagory, in which the shooter uses one pistol and a shotgun in much the same manner as the working cowboy. Thanks to the Texas Ten Horns for inspiring us to add this to our matches. Hope to folks there this Saturday.

I've gotten word from a few old friends that are planning on comin' to shoot with the Sod Buster class.

The match was a blast.  The heat index was well over 100, but fun was had by all (or was that delerium?)

I don't hink air conditioning has felt quite as good as it did for that long ride home.

Shelby and I made it out and had a wonderful time. The heat kept her pretty sedate during the match but as soon as I got that car AC on she got rather enthusiastic about how much fun she had.
