I can't vouch for Buffalo grips, but most small surface scratches on synthetic ones will polish right out with polishing compound. If you need something finer, toothpaste will work, but it takes a lot of rubbing.

Well , i guess the scratches are deeper than i thought ,tried some rubbing compound  to no a vail , should i maybe try steel wool & then polish them? i could really use some help here , i tried a google search about buffalo grips , i'm lost on this one. ???

Use Hapich's SemiChrome Polish. You get it at some auto parts stores and most motorcycle shops. It has jewelers rouge in it so it only takes a little bit. It will polish anything. I had a set of ivory grips fitted and they were rough when I got them back, and I polished with my SCP, and they look like glass now.
