Howdy All
Does anyone have the size specs on a Single Six .22mag. How much smaller is it than a Vaquero 45Lc?

I have used an old model-10 Smith and wesson to make a holster and it fit a 45LC Vaquero just fine. It wasn't form fitting, but otherwise it set in real good.

All i would have to compare it to is my 44 mag with 10 inch barrel, the only 45 i have are Uberti Dakotas.

That will work, I have them too. I need to make a holster for the RSS and don't have time to go to a gun shop to check them out.

The Single Six is basically a 3/4 size SAA Colt - make your SAA pattern just slightly smaller overall (1/4-3/8" dependent on leather thickness - I remove it from the center line) than a Colt SAA or Ruger NMV and you will be real close - I've built them the same size as my SAA's out of thicker (9/10 oz) and they fit almost perfectly -

FWIW - some customers have used SAA holsters and report that the Single Six (and Colt Frontier and the 3/4 frame size Uberti's) sit a little deeper in the holster and they like that....

WC, I have made holsters for my wifes Model P Jrs, which are the 3/4" size SAAs that Chuck mentioned. I used Will G.'s 51 Navy pattern with pretty good success.
I had to chop the length down to 3 1/2" though, so the longer barrel might need some adjustment to allow room for the plunger rod and the sight on the barrel of the Ruger.
