How old   ???, well maybe not that old.  ::)  But still I would like to know when it was made.  Model 1894, Ser. No. 181XXX18 .44 Remy. Mag.  Micro groove, so I guess that makes it post '53, .44 Rem. Mag moves it to post '56.  18 mil. dates it I don't know!  :-\ Thanx already for your help.

I concur with Michael. After 1972, the formula is 100-18=82. After the year 2000, the serials say for like my CBC would start with a 98, which was produced in 2002..............Buck 8) ;)
I might be slow, but I'm mostly accurate.....

Hey, D.R., reckon ours could be litter mates? ;D  Mine's SN is 181XXX26, and it is also a .44 Mag.  If yours shoots as good as mine, you're gonna love it.
