looking to make my own boots

the only problem im having is finding anything online about how to do it from start to finish...
it's a little frustrating to be honest... if anyone knows anything that would be helpful that would be great :)

I made a pair,,,,,,,,,once, years ago, one of the Foxfire books, not sure which one has some information about shoes.  Mine to say the least looked homemade, not a big deal.

Look up D. W. Frommer - he wrote a series of how-to articles for the Leathercrafter and Saddler's Journal and IIRC sells a how-to video. Making boots, especially 19th century styles, correctly requires a last and some specilaized tools and techniques - they aren't really a project for the beginner, one should have at least basic leather crafting skiles - I've made a couple of pairs and won't ever again.

Find and befriend a local bootmaker if at all possible.
