Anyone know what kind of lube Ox Yoke uses on their Wonder wads?
There is no educational benefit whatsoever from a second kick by a Mule!

It's kinda like Kentucky Fried chicken, it's a secret recipe.  Main thing to wonder about Wonder Wads is why a piece of felt costs so much.

Maybe they're cutting those wads out of 10X Stetsons  :D

+1 on that!  Get the 1/8" thick hard wool felt.  Punch it out, and soak in the melted BP lube of your choice for at least a half hour, then fish them out.  Makes much better wads than Wonder Wads, for a much, much lower price.

I do the durofelt.com material with a Harbor Freight 11mm(fits perfectly in my 1860 chambers) hollow punch. About 6 bucks if you buy the assorted set of 5.
I also do the hot bullet lube soak but not for that long. Just enough to pick up color from the ho-made lube. (pearl lube works well with a short piece of red candle for some color)
