Dry Silicone

I was have trouble ejecting shells out of my coach gun. At a match last weekend a guy suggested using dry silicone on the shells and in the barrel. Is CRC the type of lubricant he's talking about? I don't know who he is and can't contact him. He suggested spraying some on a soft cloth and wiping the shells with it. He did emphasize the word dry. So I'm not sure if this is what he meant or not.

All the "dry" silicones I have seen are still in a spray can and still go on damp.  They advertise that when "dry" they will waterproof your tent, etc.  Any good silicone spray will work.  Just spray it on a rag and wipe down a bunch of shells at home.  By the time you use them they will be "dry".  For the barrel, just spray it on a 12 gauge mop and run it in the chambers a couple of times.
