I've finished up my case or scabbard for my Quigley gun.  Nothing sewn here, its all hand laced with leather strips.  I'm having a hard making up my mind to put some bead work on it.

I would appreciate hearing your take on it.  Should I put the beaded cross on, or leave it as is?

You comments, suggestions or opinions would be appreciated.

Thanks

I'm not sure what 'I'd' do,, it looks fine even plain.

Greetings Monsieur Drifter -

You have done a nice job on the rifle sleeve; in keeping with the "look" I *would* add some beadwork, but not the brightly colored cross you currently have - I would suggest more appropriate Northern Plains beadwork, or painted patterns as seen on parfleche - such as Blackfeet, Crow, or Souix patterns.  Do a bit of searching on these forums for ideas, and I will try to post some links a bit later.
