Just got the May/June issue today. Besides several interesting stories, there is one specific article on Sargent, Nebraska, starring Col. Pitsptr and his now famous record chokecherry spitting feat of 63 feet 10 inches!

I'd heard earlier today that it was out, but I haven't seen it yet.

Pitspitr, I still don't have a printer. Can I print the info on plain white paper with the info requested on the form?

I just purchased a subscription to Nebraska Life on line, so I would be sure and get a copy of that issue.

Actually, In an exibition I broke 65' three times one evening. Those efforts didn't count toward the record because it wasn't in a sanctioned event.

Was out north of town today and noticed the choke cherries are in bloom.

BTW unless I miss my guess, out in the Sargent area being a bit higher eleavation than down here, the choke cherries still should have some hanging come DOM Muster time.

You know, they might. If they are, is there any chance of Chokecherry cobbler coming out of a dutch oven?

We could expand and do a grren plum catagory, them things will pucker you as bad or worse than a chokecherry. "Course I wonder how many of us have ever ate a raw chokecherry.

You do have to develope a taste for the, but even then I will admit that they're better frozen and best cooked.
