:o I sure hope that suit is the result of a bet he lost!   ::) Probably to Texas Jack Stephens. ;D

I'm guessing this "fella" is from Kansas City!  (reference to Slim Picken's comment in Blazing Saddles)

Likely bought a new suit for his move to San Francisco.
Yes, I do have more facial hair now.

Suits of really strange printed material show up now and then in old photos.  What many folks forget is that the idea of what looks good and what's tacky changes all the time.  We're all about the same age to a point here, wonder how many would wear the same outfit we got our SR picture in somewhere today?

We had a black Tux jacket that all the guys put on for our Sr. picture, with a white shirt and a black clip-on bow tie.

You are right, T Joe! I was more of a Harris Tweed jacket myself back then and I had one nice Western Coat with contrasting Western Pants. I had a nice Western Suit also, and 4 or 5 pairs of boots.

I remember the Harris Tweed.  When I moved to Lubbock in 68 I was able to buy a good suit and a pair of custom ordered Tony Lama's.  Silver tops with 12 rows of blue stiching in the dragon pattern.
