Description: PHOTOGRAPH IS IN PERIOD BRASS FRAME WITH TIN BACK AND EASEL BY K&O Co. VERY GOOD CONDITION. SHOWS A GROUP OF COWBOYS SURROUNDING A WAGON. 3.25 INCHES WIDE, 2.5 INCHES TALL.

Steve, I know you can only go by the discription provided but who ever is doing so sure appears to miss the boat. :(

This looks like a group of townsmen gathered around the wagon.  Not a cowboy in the bunch in my opinion.

Note that the one second from the left has blue jeans on, the cuffs are the giveaway.

Could be a stable hand or bull whacker??  A couple of guys have high boots on but they appear to be too old to be cowboys.  Heck too bad the photographer didn't do a better job of note taking ;D

The wagon looks more like an ambulance than a regular wagon.

Another possibility is that the wagon is a Peddler's wagon and and the guys are workers of some sort, maybe railroad or miners?

Fellas I know that some of these descriptions are bad... but there was no other information available with the picture,
so I posted what was there. But it does tick me off when a bad caption is all I can find. I think I better start stating
that the info may be wrong so this picture is posted for entertainment purposes only!!! ;D ;) ;D

Steve, you don't need to change a thing.  heck half our entertainment is figuring out what is wrong with the caption.  We know you are only providing what's there.

My guess would be that whoever has the image for sale/auction etc., probably figured it would fetch a higher price if he claimed it depicted "cowboys" rather than laborers, tourists, etc.
