I have a Spiller and Burr which shoots all over the place, even from a rest.
Bore  3.70
Cylinders 3.65
Could someone point me to a smith that could ream the cylinder
out to say 3.70 or 3.75
I normaly shoot a 3.80 ball in my other .36 cal. revolvers and would like
to stay with that size of ball.
Any other suggestions are welcome.

I can ream your cylinder but I think you are a bit off on your bore and groove size, decimal point in the wrong place.

Generally, the Piettas have little/no forcing cone....sometimes even a burred edge, causing a constriction...which makes things worse. I've found reaming the FC to 11 degrees to help significantly in my Pietta 44s. Might consider this first.

Hello Slim.
I found that Ravon can ream the cylinders to .375 for me.
Your right the forcing cone could use reaming.
Looking at Brownells the reaming tool would cost more for one job
then having someone do it.
So I guess I will need to find someone to do that
first and give that a try. ;)

Ask at your local machine shop - you might be surprised at the level of expertise...

We used to have a very good machine shop in town, they're gone now, don't now whats around now.
The gunsmith in town does OK work but mostly on modern guns.
I would think he would have a forcing cone reamer, I'll give him a call.

That might be your best bet.

Good luck.
