Just purchased this engraved New Army '58 Remington in cal.44 .
It's was made by Euroarms in 1975.

Great looking revolver!  One beautiful pistol!  The holster is beautiful as well.  You've got a great collection and I'm sure they bring much enjoyment -  which is what it is all about! Thanks for sharing with the rest of us!   :D

The Rem. was never shoot before. Got me some Conical bullets Cal.45/450Dia./ca.200gr. Look for an starting load.

A good guess on the amount of powder to use will be one key factor.....too little & you'll have abit of air-space which can give you a slight hang-fire.....Too much, and you won't seat the bullet deep enough to clear the barrel to rotate.......also whether the bullet you have will go in the "hole", clear the frame & fit under the rammer. I suspect your older Euro-model will be better made in these regards compared to many newer repros.

Just guessing, but 20-22 grains of 3F is where I'd start with the first load going in....and adjust as needed to get the bullet tip about 1/8" below the chamber mouth.....and I'd pre-clean & charge it for the first time at home, rather than the range....just in case you have difficulties.
